The Sensory Dispensary

Like most cats, ours have a tendency to find random things sitting on the edge of the table, like a single empty pill bottle, and with an almost audible utterance of “fuck this thing” they proceed to knock it to the ground.

So last week I got my prescription refills and when I consolidated the new pills with the old pills there were a few empty bottles. Gina stacked them up and we just waited for one of our kitties to come along and knock that shit to the ground. We dared them to do it, how could they resist?

But resist they have – for almost a week now. Not even an accidental tail wagging in the vicinity. We marvel at their self control, and we wait, and it still stands.

Cats are the best, we are 7 cats old in our house and the two we have now are just a joy to have around and I appreciate them every day.
