Daily Joyful – A Perfect Grilled Cheese Sandwich

/

Photo of a perfectly toasted grilled cheese sandwich on Turano bread - cut in thirds.

Today was proof of an old theory of mine that there isn’t much in life that can’t be quelled, at least for a while, as much as by a perfectly toasted grilled cheese sandwich.

Gina buys this great Turano bread which gets so nice and crispy and the cheese all melty in the middle. Always cut in to thirds.

Quite possibly the world’s most perfect food.

  1. That’s a mighty tasty-looking sammie there. The plate it graces ain’t bad either. Good taste x2!

  2. Agreed👍

But, even a 65, there is something calming about a peanut butter (Jiff) and strawberry preserves on very fresh white bread. A glass of cold chocolate milk and a few potato chips on the side, and I’m 7 again.
