Game Face – Gov’t Mule
A righteous jam from Gov’t Mule from their second album Dose. Over the years when they do this one live, they have been known to toss in a large chunk of The Allman Brother’s “Mountain Jam” in the middle section there which is quite nice. Give a listen won’t you, it’s a heavy one.

If I had a talk show or podcast, the first 30 seconds or so would be my intro music. That’s a great hook. The vocals are hauntingly similar to the late James Dewar when he was with Robin Trower. Listen to anything from Bridge of Sighs.
Bridge of Sighs is a favorite from way back, that title track is just a hauntingly beautiful jam.
