This is a really strong album and I am constantly amazed by Sinéad O’Connor’s singing voice, so powerful and such amazing range and control. I think I prefer Lion and the Cobra overall but that’s more a reflection of the strength of that album rather than a failing of this one.

Such a courageous woman who lived a very difficult life.
