I admit to being a bit skeptical about JB Pritzker when he was first running for Illinois Governor. After the debacle that was Rauner, I wasn’t sure that another billionaire was the right choice here. I am glad to say that my fears were unfounded, I have been continually impressed by the commitment he shows to the people of Illinois. I am glad that he was in charge to lead us through the covid pandemic and love that he is such an activist for the LGBTQ+ community.
I found this speech he gave to the HRC informative and inspiring so I wanted to share it with you all in case you haven’t seen it. It’s nice to see a politician speak coherently, use complete sentences and have a point and purpose to his speech….
