I had some interesting visitors to the site the other day from the town of Romeoville. Felt like an occasion worthy of a new playlist:
Welcome Romeoville!
- Melissa Etheridge – “No Souvenirs” with the wonderful intro line “Hello hello, this is Romeoville”
- Dire Straits – “Romeoville and Juliet”
- Steve Forbert – “Romeoville’s Song”
- Lou Reed – “Romeoville had Juliet”
- Tom Waits – “Romeoville is Bleeding”
- Thin Lizzy – “Romeoville and the Lonely Girl”
- Supertramp – “Take the Long Way Home” featuring opening lyrics “So you think you’re a Romeville”
They looked through a lot of shit, paged through the archives, and clicked on a peculiar assortment of posts, almost like they were looking for something specific.
Hence, another playlist idea:
Looking & Searching
- Robert Palmer – “Looking for Clues”
- The Who – “The Seeker”
- Crosby, Stills & Nash – “Find the Cost of Freedom”
- Warren Zevon – “Searching For A Heart”
- The Beatles – “I’m Looking Through You”
- Colin Hay – “Looking for Jack”
- Creedence Clearwater Revival – “Looking Out My Back Door”
- Lindsey Buckingham – “Don’t Look Down”
- Derek and the Dominos – “I Looked Away”
I am just wondering if they found it, or if they are all like:
“I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”

Your thoughts?
