Marquee Moon – Television

“The record you didn’t know you needed is what I am listening to in the other room.”

Clocking in at nearly 11 minutes, this is music that only Television could have made. The title track from 1977’s Marquee Moon, an album that most every musician of note that followed probably mentions as an influence of some sort.
It’s been called un-categorizable, fitting no single genre, either complexly simple or simply complex. I don’t know really, I don’t worry about, I just listen and love, and the guitar work from Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd is truly a wonder to behold.

Love this song! 🎶
Thank you for your comments when you like the same weird stuff I like. It doesn’t make me any less weird, which is fine, I appreciate my own weirdness. It’s just nice to not always feel alone in my weirdness.
You are definitely not alone in your weirdness, Scott, there are lot’s of us on that plane! 😉
