“The record you didn’t know you needed is what I am listening to in the other room.”

Random Song of the Day (RSOTD) – What I Am

/

Group shot of Edie Brickell & New Bohemians

Have been struggling to find a share the last few days, nothing really clicked with me and even though it’s called the random song, picking something just for the sake of having a song to post just isn’t me.

Anyway, started playing a 90’s mix this morning and this one by Edie Brickell & New Bohemians popped up and I remembered just how good this song is, as is the whole album. This is one of those songs that got played so often I maybe got a bit desensitized to it, but this morning it was like hearing from an old friend, it had been a while and we caught up with each other. It was nice.

  1. I wore out my Edie Brickell & New Bohemians CD in the 90’s, it could be my soundtrack for that time, thanks for the share!🎶

    1. I agree – this and Melissa Etheridge’s debut were dorm staples, couldn’t walk down the hall without hearing one of the two…
