“The record you didn’t know you needed is what I am listening to in the other room.”

Daily Joyful – Late Night Snacky

/

A small black plastic container filled with crackers and pretzels.

Usually around 10:30 – 11:00 I will start to get a little hungry so I have a late night snacky – a mix of various crackers like Cheez-It Grooves, which are awesome, and some peanut butter filled pretzels. Sometimes Gina will mix in something else like regular Cheez-Its or some peanuts or mixed nuts. I snack on this for a bit while we watch tv or I start working these posts. Our Eggs cat knows snacky time and he often comes and visits me and lays on my chest while I try to eat.

I look forward to my snacky time, daily rituals like this are important because they provide structure for me. Plus crackers and pretzels are yummy. Maybe not the healthiest option but it’s probably better than cookies or ice cream.

It seems like a little thing but it brings me joy as I finish up my day.
