Daily Joyful – The Artwork of Tiffany Arp-Daleo

An abstract painting by Tiffany Arp-Daleo called Balance With Bubbles - featuring a background of blues and greens with broad strokes of black of various thickness and circles of various shades scattered throughout.

In my last post I mentioned that I try to find something each day that makes me smile, makes me happy or brings me joy. I decided that the best thing I can do when I do find that thing is to share it with others. Maybe it will make you smile, or bring you joy as well.

WordPress, where this site is hosted has a bit of a social-ish (not socialist..) component where you can find and subscribe to other sites here in their Reader app. I don’t know if Tiffany found me or I found her but, in any case, Tiffany Arp-Daleo is a wonderful artist who frequently posts her work on her web site, and her art is always so interesting and colorful and textured, and I look forward to seeing them show up when she does share them.

I like to spend a few minutes looking at her paintings and recognize the patterns and the shapes and the colors, and how it all just seems to fit together.

I am not an art critic and I don’t know how to describe what it is about a particular painting or sculpture or any art form that attracts me to it, and I am not sure it makes sense to do that, or if it’s even possible.

“Writing about music is like dancing about architecture”

Sometimes it really is just the way it makes me feel – and this makes me smile.

  1. You absolutely gobsmacked me with your Daily Joyful offering! I’m here for it and absolutely joyful that you are going to share the things that bring you joy. I can’t wait to see future posts in this category because what brings you joy brings me joy – and a joyful husband.

  2. You just made my day, Scott, thank you so much!! 😊

  3. It can be pretty hard these days to not get overwhelmed by negativity and worry, and all that stuff that makes our world so dark – I want (need) to find the people and things that bring light in to our days and celebrate them. I hope others enjoy your work as much as I do.
