“The record you didn’t know you needed is what I am listening to in the other room.”

Random Song of the Day (RSOTD) – Right & Wrong

Singer Joe Jackson sitting at piano - photo taken from behind with him looking over his shoulder at the camera

Joe Jackson from his direct to 2 track live Big World from 1986. Aside from the unique recording technique, it was also released as a 3 sided LP, with a blank 4th side. This was a favorite of my group of friends at the time and we used to say “Wow, this is sure an album and a half” which of course was both figuratively, and literally, true.

They’re not talkin’ ’bout right and left
They’re talkin’ bout
Right and wrong, do you know the difference
Right and wrong, do you know the difference

  1. Neat song. Thanks for sharing.

My contact with Joe was the “Jumpin’ Jive” record. I bought that while in college and still listen to it every now and then.
