Sometimes I get in to a curious / discovery mood and actively seek out something new to listen to. In addition to revisiting albums I haven’t listened to in a long time, I am starting to look at some recommendations that appear in relation to artists I like.

With well known classic bands I rarely find anything that isn’t already a part of my rotation, but there is often gold to be found with the lesser known.

Such is the case with Mryacle Brah who last.fm recommended because I listen to The Greenberry Woods.

I listened to their debut album Life On Planet Eartsnop which is chock full of catchy power pop goodness. I liked this one quite a bit:

I had already heard of Splitsville, I listen to their The Complete Pet Soul album pretty often. The Shazam is in queue for tomorrow.
