“The record you didn’t know you needed is what I am listening to in the other room.”

Faded concert posters line the dark walls. Wisps of incense smoke curl through the golden light. The mood is intimate, analog, and deeply atmospheric with rich sepia and brown tones against near-black shadows. | photorealistic | landscape

Cry If You Want – Random Song of the Day (RSOTD)

/

The Who group shot standing behind tour crates.

The Who’s first album after the death of Keith Moon brought Kenny Jones in to the fold to handle the drumming duties. It was a seemingly impossible task to follow up Who Are You, and while It’s Hard doesn’t quite live up to its predecessor it has some really great songs on it.

I think releasing “Athena” as the single hurt as it’s a bit weak but “Eminence Front,” “I’ve Known No War,” “Dangerous” and this one here, “Cry If You Want” are all top notch.
