I’ve been voting for nearly forty years now and this is the first time I have ever not chosen a paper ballot. With the neuropathy and nerve damage, I had so much trouble last time trying to fill in the little circles. So much easier to use the machine but it just doesn’t feel right.
I can’t wait to vote on Tuesday, and even though I never watch news anymore, I want to follow along to see the results. I can only hope enough Americans will have turned out to swing the tide back to a time of sanity, consequence, and truth over rhetoric. In other words, I hope big Don and the R’s are humiliated bigly, like no one has ever seen before…
This upcoming week is going to be filled with phone calls and information gathering and decisions that need to be made more quickly than I would like. Took yesterday off because sometimes the best preparation is to allow myself time to not prepare.
My therapist told me that I am unusually attentive to inconsistencies.

Abbey Road was released 57 years ago today, so in honor of its birthday I gave it a spin. I am glad to report that it’s still fucking perfect.
Meta introduced Muse, their AI companion / assistant last week, and I am already hearing nightmare stories about how insecure it is. Even without the security concerns, Meta is an evil and horrible company that completely disrespects you and your privacy. If they can do the wrong thing, they will.
The only entity I dislike and distrust more than Meta and Mark Zuckerberg is the Donald Trump led US Government. I wouldn’t mind if either or both of them got shut down.
Second day in a row I woke up early from dreams I did not want to fall back asleep to.
There is a lot of stuff going on right now but we are doing our best to stay focused and on task and make the right decisions. There is so much out of our control though which makes things difficult, so we focus on what we can do. Wish us luck, we’ll need it.
Finally got a new Bin Diving post up, and have all the listens from the gap logged so I should be able to retro-post the ones I missed quickly. I just need to add the reviews. I set up an AI job that actually does most of the work for me, other than the listening and the writing…
While not as bad as others have experienced, the recent storms have done some pretty severe damage to the old trees in our yard. The crabapple tree pretty much split down the middle and a large oak lost a large branch which brought down the power lines from the pole to our house. We have been trying to clean them up but it is just too much work for us. Another call to the landscaper just when we can’t afford to be calling a landscaper…
