Random Song of the Day (RSOTD) – Good Day For The Blues

Group shot of the band Storyville

A great song from Storyville’s A Piece of Your Soul, one of my favorite albums that for some reason is just missing from every streaming service.

So good, and I am not sure how they fit so much talent in one band:

I mean, you’ve got Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon who were the rhythm section for Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Double Trouble as well as members of the supergroup Arc Angels, David Lee Holt and the phenomenal David Grissom handling guitar duties and fronting the group is Malford Milligan who might have one of the best blues voices I have ever heard.

Astounding.
